Small Twist

So I have been contemplating a new style for my hair for each week. I finally did small twists..... LOL I don't fancy it much but I am going to leave it in for a while.... I have no idea how to style it which is why i usually decide to put in corn rows in my hair.

Going out with my girl friends tonight, lets just hope that it all works out well.

Now when I have finally completed sewing mostly all the cloth in my possession I am going to attempt this dress... maybe not these colours but something delicate as well.

This was my hair check in May, very unofficial because I was trying to check my hair and hold d camera at the same time, lol the next hair check would be of better quality..... I promise lol

First year anniversary

So I have crossed the first year of being natural after about 3 years of relaxers.

It has been wonderful, I have gained much confidence in the way I operate as a woman and at times I think that I was kinda crazy to go back to relaxers after my two pregnancies. My hair has been super challenged until it has finally learned to appreciate all the changes it has been going through. For a moment I felt like my hair wouldn't grow, but now it is thriving....

I have joined several hair challenges, and I am trying to find my niche in this wonderful world of the natural hair woman. My regimen continues to evolve from hot oil treatments and co washing every week, to massaging my scalp with different combinations of oils and trying different protective styles, to trying my best to keep my hands out of my hair... 

Each day is a blessing and every challenge completed is an awesome feeling... I am hoping to have gained at least 8 inches by the time the new year comes dancing in, so I have decided to embark on the braid/weaving of my hair..... I hope this challenge does me justice. When I first decided to go back to braids I didn't have a good experience, I had to cut off my ends because they had become so raggedy.... lol, an entire braid fell out, thank goodness the hair is coming along nicely... I will keep you guys posted.
