Small Twist
So I have been contemplating a new style for my hair for each week. I finally did small twists..... LOL I don't fancy it much but I am going to leave it in for a while.... I have no idea how to style it which is why i usually decide to put in corn rows in my hair.

First year anniversary
So I have crossed the first year of being natural after about 3 years of relaxers.
It has been wonderful, I have gained much confidence in the way I operate as a woman and at times I think that I was kinda crazy to go back to relaxers after my two pregnancies. My hair has been super challenged until it has finally learned to appreciate all the changes it has been going through. For a moment I felt like my hair wouldn't grow, but now it is thriving....
I have joined several hair challenges, and I am trying to find my niche in this wonderful world of the natural hair woman. My regimen continues to evolve from hot oil treatments and co washing every week, to massaging my scalp with different combinations of oils and trying different protective styles, to trying my best to keep my hands out of my hair...
Each day is a blessing and every challenge completed is an awesome feeling... I am hoping to have gained at least 8 inches by the time the new year comes dancing in, so I have decided to embark on the braid/weaving of my hair..... I hope this challenge does me justice. When I first decided to go back to braids I didn't have a good experience, I had to cut off my ends because they had become so raggedy.... lol, an entire braid fell out, thank goodness the hair is coming along nicely... I will keep you guys posted.

Today's fashion tip
So I have been experimenting with my personal style, most ppl don't get it.... I don't think that they need to though.... I am just recreating me.... So I went from a gal who never cared about accessories into a freak who must put something in my hair before leaving the house for work, shopping, running errands, u get the point? lol
so whenever you see flowers you will think about me.
I think fashion is not so much about matching and name brands, it is about how you wear what you are wearing, and I have proven that personally.... Something not so flashy can be worn with a self conscious vybz and ppl pick up on that and say why did she wear that?
The same outfit worn with confidence can really change things around... I went to church once, after waking up in the morning and planning my outfit the night before, only to realize that it just didn't cut it, so I threw on a blazer changed the shoe, added some fishnet stockings and my trademark yellow flower and Wham! outfit resurrection. Needless to say I just went with it cause it was too late to change again, then a man asked me, are you a superstar? Did u come from Hollywood? I smiled!
Be your own trend setter...... Not because something isn't the most popular thing at the moment means you can't wear it or you have to dress like other ppl.... be your own fashion icon, wear what makes you happy about you.....
